This is the first post in a long Maui series. Instead of doing day by day recaps, instead I'll just do a dozen or so posts with favorite memories. One such memory was sunrises on the beach.
The Marriott resort we stayed in was directly on the beach, within minutes of leaving our oceanside room we were on the beach. And the time change only worked in our favor. We were up before six am every morning, and the ocean, oh the ocean was calling.
We were facing west, so the sunsets were unbelievable, but that meant the sun rose behind us. Leaving the clouds pink and warm for as long as possible. And Juliet really has the funniest personality ever.
James goes right for the water while Juliet watches the waves for a bit. And I want to talk about the sand. The sand is SO SOFT. Like pillow softness. It was unbelievably beautiful.
Looking back, towards the resort, the sun slowly crept into the sky. Another stunning day in paradise. We were alone on the beach every morning, able to enjoy the splendid sunrise without a crowd.
Finally the sun broke over the mountains behind!
What an unbelievable way to start the day.
And this was our view from our room. Our room! We had two patios and ate breakfast out there every morning. Heaven.
James's Euro suit is my favorite and was purchased at H&M. Juliet's ruffle suit and cap might be my favorite thing ever and was purchased at Vindie Baby.
