Black and White Wednesday

James thinks the Christmas tree is pretty awesome. There is one apple ornament that tempts him. He wants to pull it off the tree so much. When I say in a stern voice "James, gentle" he gets mad because he knows he was caught once again before the apple was removed.

That said, he is a very kind boy and 99% of the time is wonderful with the Christmas tree.

I love this photo of him. His eyes, oh my word his eyes. Notice the Christmas tree has yet to be decorated, this was only moments after he saw it again, after waiting an entire year. (Remember last year? Here, here and here are my favorite photos of tiny Baby James with the tree).
And that thing that he's holding? Yes, it is the apple ornament, successfully removed.
