Hi! It's me, Jessica.
I'm a 34 year old stay-at-home-mom to a wonderful little man named James and an amazing little girl named Juliet. I'm married, very happily, to a sweet and wonderful man referred to as E.
I've been happily blogging for a long time and I've documented some of the best things in the world, including traveling to Japan, crossing the ocean on the Queen Mary 2, and having a baby.
Way back in 1999 E and I met in high school newspaper class. Love bloomed. E was the editor-in-chief (hubba hubba) and I was the news editor. E and I went off to college together, living in the dorms the first year and then moving back home after that. We spent every moment together, and I knew I wanted to marry him by the time I was 20.
We both graduated and got kick ass jobs. Me in advertising, E in engineering. We traveled the world, got engaged in Africa, bought a condo, earned a lot of money and lived ever so happily.
Then in 2006 my world came crashing down when my Grandpa was diagnosed with cancer (it ended up killing him the same year) and my parents decided to divorce after nearly 30 years of marriage. E and I decided to get married that same year. It was the hardest and most wonderful year of my life, and I blogged through all the ups and downs.
In 2008 I lost my job in advertising due to the economy, we moved to our wonderful house, and we decided to start "trying". I spent the majority of 2009 pregnant, and on November 24th 2009 James joined our little family. I could not believe how demanding and how wonderful motherhood was.
When James was about one and a half we started thinking about adding to our family again. I got pregnant fairly easily and had a smooth pregnancy. On February 8th 2012 Juliet joined our family too.
So come along. Join me as I raise two really great kids, travel the world (soon again, I hope!), and enjoy every moment of life.
Love,
Jessica
