My dad gave our family an annual pass to the zoo this year for our Christmas present. It is awesome. We love family passes to anything that is good for kids, and the zoo is perfect. E and I have already used the pass three times. That is a lot considering that it is WINTER! My gosh, some days it is just so cold. But we've chosen some wonderfully mild days for the zoo. Last weekend we went on Sunday which meant that we were one of only about 15 families there. We had the entire place to ourselves!
And the animals are so active and interesting in the winter. And easier to spot because no pesky leaves getting in the way of seeing them.
