Spring weather is in full effect this weekend and it is truly glorious. Friday it warmed up enough to go out back for the first time without coats. And oh it was divine. After a fussy morning Juliet finally conked out long enough for James and I to have a little impromptu picnic.We put Juliet in her room and then went into the kitchen to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (which James ate for the first time ever!), crackers, ice water and some fruit. Then we brought a tray outside, got a cozy blanket to sit on, and there we ate, under the sunny blue skies.
James was thrilled with the whole picnic idea and loved sitting on a "cozy blanket" on the lawn. I was super impressed when he finally ventured into PB&J land, and once he was finished he happy scampered around the yard while Mama finished her PB&J in peace.
Man I love when it gets warm. LOVE it. Easter is right around the corner, and that makes me very very happy.
