Black and White Wednesday {Murray Park}

James and I go to the park a lot. We've already been twice this week and as I type this it is only Tuesday, and it's rained both days.

Today the rain was light however, and my this afternoon it had mostly passed.

So I got my boy, grabbed my camera and went to our favorite park in the valley.

The light was beautiful. Gray and perfect for black and white shots, then the sun would break through the clouds and I was happy.

My little boy was too.
All the rain has made the grass long.
I'm committed to having James wear all his sweaters again and again until it warms up. He is wearing all his cute little sweaters this week because it is in the low 50s. This panda sweater is among my favorites.
My kid LOVES the swings! I happily push him up to thirty minutes at a time. Never gets old because of the amount of grins and happy squeals he does.
I decided to keep this one color. I love the pop of his little red sweater against the very green woods.
The crab apples are all in bloom. Couldn't change these to B&W either.
Happy Spring.

  1. Your pictures are gorgeous! We are huge fans of the park around here also! I was nervous this year because my son turned 11 in January and slowly the kids have been playing less and less. This weekend though we went to the park 3 times. It is so fun to watch them chase each other and make up games and have fun. : )
    Wishing you many more park trips as your sweet baby grows. Love, Becky

  4. Oh my goodness! It'a impossible to pick a favorite! Your little guy is so cute and I just adore that panda sweater! Love the pic on the swing too. I always try to get good pics of my girls on the swing but can't seem to catch them at just the right moment. You nailed it though!
