Today is the day: Chelsea and Joe's wedding day. We are hoping and praying to the nap-gods that James is well rested and in a great mood tonight.
This week has been so much fun. Almost every day there has been something planned for E's family and Joe's family so everyone can get to know each other. Joe's family and friends are awesome, Chelsea is a very lucky woman indeed!
Wednesday:
Wednesday night was the bachelor party (Brazilian grill, bar and poker) and the bachelorette party. Luckily James went to sleep at his normal time (7:00) and Melissa came over to babysit.
I met the ladies at Stella, a really fun pub/bar/restaurant where we ordered drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. All the bridesmaids had such a fun time getting to know each other. I had yet to meet Joe's two sisters, Becky and Jen, and they are just the greatest. Aubrey, a life-long friend of Chelsea's also joined us and we had the greatest time laughing, joking, talking about weddings and flirting with our very cute waiter. Becky also planned a game for Chelsea, where she had to answer questions about Joe, and each time she got one right she got an adorable themed-to-the-question prize.
After Stella we drove just down the street to Fat Cats, a really awesome and new bowling ally. We got a lane, ordered a pitcher of beer and rocked our skills. All of us scored over 40. Yep, we rock.
1- Aubrey, Chelsea and Becky show off Chelsea's bachelorette boa.
2- And our waiter shows off the boa too.
3-Jen and Becky ask Chelsea another important question
4- Chelsea gets it right! (Can you tell I'm excited?)
And as you can see, we are all really awesome bowlers. I took this photo after I got a strike, too bad it went downhill from there...
the perfect end to summer
